The Framingham State University Department of Nursing seeks applicants for a one-year, Full-Time Temporary Assistant Professor position starting September 2013. The position requires teaching in the undergraduate (RN-to-BS) Nursing program; additional responsibilities include student advising, curriculum development, service to the University and Department, and continuing scholarship. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in Nursing Informatics and/or Nursing Theory. National accreditation experience and familiarity with hybrid/blended teaching format is highly desirable. Earned Ph.D. or Ed.D. in Nursing Education or Educational Leadership or equivalent (ABD will be considered) with current RN licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Candidates should have at least 3 years of teaching experience at the baccalaureate level or higher; experience teaching in an ADN program considered with a strong record of scholarship.
